There is hereby created the position of Deputy Director of Emergency Services, who shall serve as (and at times is referred to herein as) the Chief of the Office of Emergency Services. The Director shall appoint a Deputy Director/Chief of Emergency Services within the County Administration Office to manage the day-to-day administration and operations of emergency services for the accomplishment of the purposes of this Chapter. This position shall report to the County Administrator or designee.
