5-1-1: DEPARTMENT ESTABLISHED; COMPOSITION:

The police department is hereby established for the performance of all police functions as may heretofore or hereinafter be authorized.

The police department shall consist of the following active positions which are hereby established, the number of which shall be determined by the operating budget as authorized by the corporate authorities: (Ord. 2004-9-38, 9-16-2004)

Deputy chief of police
