147.01 COUNCIL MEMBER TO BE ALTERNATE ON PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION.
   At the time of the organizational meeting provided by Charter Section 3.23, Council shall appoint one of its members to serve as an alternate to the Council member appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission pursuant to Charter. When the member of Council appointed pursuant to Charter is absent from the City or unable for any cause to perform the duties of a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the alternate member of Council appointed pursuant to this section shall have the same powers and perform the same duties as the Council member appointed pursuant to Charter.
