749.08 REVOCATION OR SUSPENSION OF LICENSE.

(a) The Director of Public Service and Safety may suspend a license of an operator who at any time fails to be in compliance with Section 749.02 through 749.04 of this chapter. A license shall be restored upon return to compliance.

(b) The Director may revoke a license for failure to comply with Sections 749.05 and 749.06 or for a serious violation of the rules and regulations authorized by Section 749.07 .

(c) In the absence of the Director, the Chief of Police may temporarily suspend a license of an operator who at any time fails to be in compliance with this chapter. The Director shall review the suspension upon the next scheduled business day to confirm, modify, amend or terminate such suspension, as the Director deems appropriate.
