131.01    Superintendent of water and sewer departments.

131.01 SUPERINTENDENT OF WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENTS.

   (a)    Office Created. The office of Superintendent of Water and Sewer Departments is hereby established. .

   (b)    Powers and Duties. The Superintendent of Water and Sewer Departments shall have and exercise general supervision of the Water and Sewer Departments of the City.

   (c)    Compensation. The Superintendent of Water and Sewer Departments shall receive such salary as Council shall prescribe from time to time by ordinance. One-half of the salary shall be paid by the Water Department and the remaining one-half shall be paid by the Sewer Department. (1965 Code §§2-7 to 2-9)
