GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 33.01 ADOPTION OF RULES FOR POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS BY BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY.
   The Board of Public Works and Safety shall adopt rules and regulations for the Departments of Police and Fire. Said rules, among other things, shall include conduct, procedure, and other necessary regulations.

§ 33.02 ORDINANCE OFFICER.
   An Ordinance Officer shall be employed by the city under the supervision of the Chief of Police for the specific purpose of enforcing the Ordinances of the City of Union City which include, but are not limited to the following: animal control, garbage, property clean up and other nuisance violations.

RESERVE POLICE FORCE
§ 33.15 MEMBERSHIP
   No more than 11 police reserves may be appointed to serve at any given time.
