§ 93.030 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS. Any material composed predominantly of any of the following hydrocarbons, or mixtures of them: propane; propylene; butane (normal butane or isobutane); and butylenes.
   LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS EQUIPMENT. All containers, apparatus, piping (not including utility distribution piping systems) and equipment pertinent to the storage and handling of liquified petroleum gas. Gas-consuming appliances shall not be considered as being LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS EQUIPMENT.

§ 93.031 COMPLIANCE WITH PROVISIONS.
   It shall be unlawful to produce, store or use liquified petroleum gas or to install or maintain any equipment for such production or use, unless such production, storage and utilization equipment is constructed and maintained in compliance with all provisions of this subchapter.

§ 93.032 STANDARDS ADOPTED; EXCEPTIONS.
   There is hereby adopted by the village for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the production, handling, use or storage of liquified petroleum gas, those certain standards known as Standards for the Storage and Handling of Liquified Petroleum Gas, Pamphlet Number 58, published by the National Fire Protection Association, being particularly the July 1969 edition thereof, and the whole thereof including all appendices thereto, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended, of which not less than three copies have been and now are filed in the office of the Village Clerk, and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the village. However, in the event any of the provisions of such Pamphlet No. 58 are in conflict with the state law, this code of ordinances or other ordinance of the village, then such state law, other provisions of said code or other ordinance of the village shall prevail.

§ 93.033 EQUIPMENT; PERMIT REQUIRED.
   (A)   No equipment for the utilization of production of liquified petroleum gas shall be installed within the village unless a permit therefor shall have first been secured from the Fire Chief.
   (B)   No such equipment shall be installed or used unless it complies with the standards therefor established in this subchapter.

§ 93.034 STORAGE; PERMIT REQUIRED.
   (A)   No container for storage of liquified petroleum gas shall be installed on any premises until a permit for such installation has been issued by the Fire Chief.
   (B)   No such permit shall be issued unless the premises and equipment thereon to be used in such activity are in compliance with the standards therefor established in this subchapter.
