Commercial Dredging

715.01. License required.
   No person, firm or corporation owning, controlling, leasing or operating any commercial dredge shall conduct any commercial dredging operation in the Toledo Harbor without first having obtained a license to do so as hereinafter provided.

715.02. Application for license.
   Any person, firm or corporation conducting or intending to conduct commercial dredging operations in the Toledo Harbor shall file in the office of the Department of Finance a written application over the signature of such person, firm or corporation as follows:
   (a)   If the applicant is a person, the application shall be signed by such person, and if the applicant is a firm or partnership, the application shall be signed by each individual composing such firm or partnership. The application shall state the name and residence of each person so signing the same, the location of his office, if any, and shall describe the equipment intended to be used in such commercial dredging operation.
   (b)   If the applicant is a corporation, the application shall be signed by the president or secretary thereof and shall specify the name of the corporation, the date and place of its incorporation, the location of its principal place of business and shall describe the equipment intended to be used in such commercial dredging operation and shall be accompanied by a copy of its certificate of incorporation.

715.03. Issuance of license; fee.
   Upon the filing of such application in the Department of Finance, and upon payment of an annual license fee of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00), the Director of Finance shall issue and deliver to such applicant a certificate of license to engage in commercial dredging operations in the Toledo Harbor, which license shall be in a form to be prescribed by the Director of Finance and shall specify the name of the applicant, the location of the place of business of the applicant, the date on which it is issued and the date on which it will expire.
