The Department of Economic and Community Development is designated the agency for the City to enforce the minimum housing occupancy standards within urban renewal areas and throughout the City. The Department of Economic and Community Development, Division of Building Inspection and Code Enforcement, shall recommend to Council the budget necessary to carry out a comprehensive Housing Code enforcement and neighborhood improvement program by voluntary and legal processes.
