GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 122.01 WORK TO BE CONTINUOUS.
   When a building is moved on, over or across city streets, alleys or railroads, the work of moving shall be continuously prosecuted on a 24-hour-per-day basis from the time of entry upon public thoroughfares until exit therefrom.

§ 122.02 EQUIPMENT INSPECTION.
   (A)   When moving a building, prior to entry upon a public thoroughfare, the City Building Official shall be notified and shall inspect for adequacy both as to condition and type of equipment to be used in moving the building.
   (B)   Should the Building Official deem the equipment inadequate, such steps as are necessary shall be taken to correct any and all deficiencies to the satisfaction of the Building Official, and the building shall not be entered upon a public thoroughfare without final approval by the City Building Official.

§ 122.03 NOTICE TO PUBLIC UTILITIES, POLICE DEPARTMENT AND FIRE DEPARTMENT.
   No person shall move any house, building or other structure over any street, alley or other public thoroughfare without first notifying all public utilities and the Police and Fire Departments of the proposed route to be taken and the proposed time of the move.

§ 122.04 ACCOMPANIMENT BY POLICE OFFICER.
   No building, house or other structure shall be moved unless accompanied by a police officer, if required by the Building Official.
