A. The city and the Stroud utilities authority are hereby authorized and directed to charge a fee in such amount as established by resolution of the city council, per utility bill per month issued by the Stroud utilities authority for the subsidization of any ambulance service contracted for by the city and/or the Stroud utilities authority. This expense shall only be applicable to each address which has utility service, and should multiple utility services be connected at the same address, then in that event, the utility customer shall receive one bill per address for ambulance services.
B. The provisions set forth in subsection A of this section shall be effective with the incurrence of utility services effective May 1, 2008, and shall be effective until repealed.
C. This section is made applicable as it pertains to each utility bill and shall not be based on the number of utility accounts held in any single customer's name. (Ord. 228, 4-29-2008; amd. 2011 Code)
