8-903: PERMITTED USE:
Farmers' markets are a permitted use in the following zoning districts: Agricultural and Commercial Highway, subject to the following regulations:
   A.   Compliance With All Laws: All farmers' markets and their vendors comply with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations relating to the operation, use, and enjoyment of the market premises;
   B.   Permits And Licenses: All farmers' markets and their vendors receive all required operating and health permits, licenses, and certificates of insurance, and these documents (or copies) shall be in the possession of the farmers' market manager or the vendor, as applicable, on the site of the farmers' market during all hours of operation;
   C.   Acceptance Of Payment From Food Assistance Programs: For eligible goods or products sold, all farmers' markets and their vendors shall accept all forms of payment - or shall allow a legitimate and duly authorized third party to occupy space within the farmers' market area to operate a redemption program - by participants of Federal, State, or local food assistance programs, including, but not limited to, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP); the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Farmers' Market Nutrition Program; and the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, all in a manner allowed by, and in conformance with, both Federal and State laws and regulations as those laws and regulations may be amended from time to time.
