EDITOR'S NOTE: Ordinance 1360, passed March 25, 1997, adopted the Sidney Economic Development Program, approved and adopted the Sidney Economic Development Plan and established a Citizen Advisory Review Committee and a separate Economic Development Fund pursuant to the Plan. Copies of this ordinance and of the Plan may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk-Treasurer.

252.02   Purposes.

252.01 ESTABLISHMENT; DIRECTOR.
   There is hereby established in and for the City a Department of Economic Development/Personnel/Public Relations. The Director of the Department shall be the City Manager or a person designated by him or her with the approval of Council.

252.02 PURPOSES.
   The Department of Economic Development/Personnel/Public Relations is established for the administration of affairs relative to economic development, personnel and public relations.
