The document, copies of which are on file with the village clerk, being marked and designated as the international property maintenance code, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., and as attached to the ordinance codified herein as exhibit A, is hereby adopted as the Sherman property maintenance code for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Sherman property maintenance code are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in section 9-2-2 of this chapter. The following sections of the code adopted in section 9-2-1 of this chapter are amended as follows:
Section 101.1 Amend all references to the code to mean the Sherman property maintenance code.
Section 103.6 All references throughout the code that refer to any fee shall be subject to the following: "The fees for all activities and services performed by the village in carrying out this code shall be as provided by the village board by separate ordinance."
Section 104.1 All references throughout the code that refer to the code official shall include the following: "The code official may, with the consent of the village president and the board of trustees, refer matters arising under this code for enforcement by intergovernmental agreement to Sangamon County."
Section 111 Amend by adding the following: "All appeals of any order, decision or other determination made by the code official shall be heard by the village board."
