EDITOR'S NOTE: Resolution 22-74, passed April 24, 1974, adopted the Mercer County Solid Waste Management Plan, which was submitted pursuant to Act 241. Resolution 22-74 was amended by Resolution 215-91, passed October 23, 1991. Resolution 43-85, passed March 21, 1985, approved the Resource Recovery Feasibility Study of Mercer County as the official updating of the Mercer County Solid Waste Management Plan and approved the Plan as the City's Plan for Collection and Disposal of Municipal Waste under the provisions of Act 97, The Pennsylvania Solid Waste Management Act.
Resolution 48-97, passed April 29, 1997, ratified the Mercer County Solid Waste Management Plan, upon recommendation of the Mercer County Solid Waste Authority.
