17-2-2: WATER RATES:
   A.   Fees And Charges Set By Council: The City Council shall from time to time, with the approval of the Seminole Utility Authority, by ordinance, amend the fees and charges for water use by customers of the City water system. A copy of the current fees or charges shall be kept on file in the Office of the City Clerk. (2000 Code § 17-202; amd. Ord. 1081, 4-8-2008, eff. 5-8-2008)
   B.   Rates Enumerated: Effective July 14, 2015, water rates to consumers thereof within the City are established as follows:
      1.   Rates:
 
For the first 1,000 gallons or fractional part thereof

      2.   Automatic Annual Rate Increase: An automatic five percent (5%) increase shall be assessed to the rates each year commencing as of January 1, 2012, unless deferred by resolution. (Ord. 1192, 4-12-2016, eff. 4-12-2016)
      3.   Multi-Unit Family Dwellings, Computation Of Rates: Provided, however, water rates and charges for multi-unit family dwellings on a master meter shall be computed as follows:
   By each unit of a multi-unit family dwelling being charged under the above schedule with an average water consumption per unit, with the total of the average water consumption per unit charges added to arrive at a total figure. The average water consumption per unit figure shall be calculated by dividing the total amount of water used for the billing period by eighty percent (80%) of the total number of units in the multi-unit family dwelling where the occupancy has a water consumption per unit figure shall be calculated by dividing the total amount of water used for the billing period by the total number of units. "Multi-unit family dwelling" shall be defined as including, but not limited to, apartment complexes, triplexes, duplexes, rental homes, and mobile home parks. (Ord. 1043, 9-26-2006, eff. 9-26-2006)
