2-2-4: ABSENCE OF MEMBERS 2 :
   If the mayor or any councilman shall be absent, without excuse, from more than one-half (1/2) of all the meetings of the council, regular and special, held within any period of four (4) consecutive calendar months, he shall thereupon cease to hold office. (2000 Code § 2-204)
