10-6-4: OFFENSES RELATING TO PRISONERS:
   A.   Rescuing Prisoners: It is unlawful for any person, in any illegal manner, to set at liberty, rescue or attempt to set at liberty, any prisoner from any officer or employee of the city having legal custody of the same or from jail or other place of confinement by the city, or to assist such prisoner in any manner to escape from such prison or custody either before or after conviction, including escape from a vehicle of confinement.    B.   Escape Of Prisoners: It is unlawful for any person confined in jail or other place of confinement by the city, or working upon the streets or other public places of the city in pursuance of any judgment, or otherwise held in legal custody by authority of the city, to escape or attempt to escape from any jail, prison or custody.    C.   Furnishing Weapons To Prisoners: It is unlawful for any person to furnish or attempt to furnish or take into jail or to deliver or attempt to deliver to any prisoner therein confined, or in the custody of any officer, any weapon, tool, intoxicating liquors, drug or other article without the consent of the officer in charge.
