10-2-17: CERTAIN VEHICLES PROHIBITED IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS:
   A.   Definition: The term "residential street", for the purposes of this section, shall mean any street within a platted subdivision of the city which is zoned R1-Z (single-family zero lot line residential district), R-1 (one-family dwelling district), R-2 (two-family dwelling district), R-3 (multiple-family dwelling district), or R-4 (townhouse dwelling district).    B.   Overweight Vehicles Prohibited; Exceptions: Vehicles in excess of two (2) axles, having a GVW rating in excess of twenty six thousand one (26,001) pounds, are prohibited from entering upon the residential streets of the city. Exceptions are: utility vehicles (electric, sanitation, etc.), city maintenance vehicles, contractors hired by the city, construction material delivery vehicles, emergency vehicles, and moving vans.
