A. Annual License Fee: There is hereby imposed an annual license fee in the sum of twenty dollars ($20.00) on any person and business engaged in septic tank and cesspool cleaning. The license shall be renewed each year before July 1 and the annual license shall expire on June 30 of each year.
B. Issuance Of Permit; Bond Required: The license shall be issued by and the fee collected by the City building official. However, no license shall be issued until a good and sufficient surety bond in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) is approved by and filed with the City Community Services Office. C. Failure To Obtain License; Penalty: Each day a person or business engages in septic tank or cesspool cleaning without obtaining the necessary license shall constitute a separate offense punishable under the provisions of section of this Code. (2000 Code § 9-1001)
