Notwithstanding penalties set forth in section of this chapter, any junked or "abandoned vehicle", as defined in this chapter, may be impounded at the direction of a duly authorized officer of the city after seven (7) days. All costs associated shall be assessed against the vehicle owner or lessee, or the owner of property from which the vehicle was removed. (Ord. 1115, 5-11-2010)
