It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain a slaughterhouse within less than one-half (1/2) mile of any tract of land platted into lots and blocks as an addition to the city except in conformity with the zoning ordinances of the city, or to maintain such a slaughterhouse within one-half (1/2) mile of any tract of land platted into acre tracts for the purpose of being sold for residence, and in which tracts of land have actually been sold for residence purposes outside of the city.
