§ 73.24 SERIAL NUMBERS REQUIRED ON NEW BICYCLES PRIOR TO SALE.
   (A)   After December 31, 1976, no bicycle retailer shall sell any new bicycle in this state unless such bicycle has permanently stamped or cast on its frame a serial number unique to the particular bicycle of each manufacturer.
   (B)   Serial numbers shall be stamped or cast in the head of the frame, either side of the seat tube, the toeplate, or the bottom sprocket (crank) housing.

§ 73.25 REPORTS OF PERSON IN BUSINESS OF BUYING AND SELLING BICYCLES.
   Every person engaged in the business of buying and selling new or secondhand bicycle shall make a report to the Chief of Police of every bicycle purchased or sold by such dealer, giving name and address of the person from whom such bicycle was purchased or to whom it was sold, a description of it by name or make, the frame number thereof and the number of the license plate, if any, found thereon.

§ 73.26 RETAILERS TO SUPPLY RECORDS TO PURCHASER.
   Each bicycle retailer shall supply to each purchaser a record of the name and address of the retailer, and the year, make and serial number of the bicycle.

§ 73.27 NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS.
   Whenever the owner of a bicycle licensed pursuant to this chapter changes his address, he shall within 10 days notify the Chief of Police of the old and new address.

§ 73.28 WHERE OPERATING IS PROHIBITED.
   No person shall ride a bicycle on the sidewalk in the Central Business District Zone.
