Signs legally existing on or before April 12, 1995, shall be exempt from the sign permit fee. All signs listed in section 21A.46.040 of this chapter, except gasoline price signs which are in compliance with all provisions of this chapter, are exempt from permits and permit fees. Nameplates, garage sale and real estate signs, which are in compliance with all provisions of this chapter, are also exempt from permits and permit fees. (Ord. 35-99 § 76, 1999: Ord. 88-95 § 1 (Exh.
