Any violation of this chapter and/or chapter 17.81 and/or 17.84 of this title is hereby declared a public nuisance and shall be corrected or abated as directed by the director. In addition to any other powers granted the director under chapter 17.75 of this title, the director shall be entitled to exercise all of the powers and remedies set forth in the provisions of this code governing nuisances, and shall be entitled to reimbursement for any costs incurred in removing, abating or remedying such nuisance.
