"Standard industrial classification (SIC)" means a classification pursuant to the "Standard Industrial Classification Manual" issued by the executive office of the president, office of management and budget, 1972, or its successor. The "North American industry classification system (NAICS)" is similar to the SIC and means a classification pursuant to the office of management and budget, official 2007 U.S. NAICS Manual, as amended.
