"Slug load" or "slug discharge" shall mean any discharge at a flow rate or concentration, which could cause a violation of the prohibited discharge standards in section 17.36.060 of this title. A slug discharge is any discharge of a nonroutine, episodic nature, including, but not limited to, an accidental spill or a noncustomary batch discharge, which has a reasonable potential to cause interference or pass-through, or in any other way violate the POTW's regulations, local limits or permit conditions.
