The public utilities director may give permission, for the use of water from fire hydrants by applicants who are engaged in work on public streets. The public utilities director, with approval of the mayor, shall submit a proposed fee for the use of such water to the city council. The city council may consider including such proposed fee on the Salt Lake City consolidated fee schedule. (Ord. 46-16, 2016)
