It is unlawful for the driver or any other employee of a motorbus company, finding any article left in any motorbus, to fail, neglect or refuse to return such article left in such motorbus by any passenger thereof who offers satisfactory proof of ownership, or, if not claimed by such passenger, to deliver such article to the police station in this city within twenty four (24) hours after the finding of such article.
