5.61.050: OBSCENITY; STATUTORY PROVISIONS:
Notwithstanding anything contained in this chapter, nothing in this chapter shall be deemed to permit or allow the showing or display of any matter which is contrary to the provisions of Utah code section 76-9-301.8, 76-9-702, or 76-10-1206 or other applicable federal or state statutes prohibiting obscenity.
