5.16.200: MERCHANDISE; LABELING REQUIREMENTS:
Before any sale is made at auction, the licensee must attach to each article to be sold, which has a retail value of five dollars ($5.00) or more, a card with the number of the article endorsed thereon, so that such number shall correspond to the article as it is described in the inventory on file with the license supervisor, as set forth in this chapter. No article which has a retail value of five dollars ($5.00) or more shall be sold at the auction, other than the merchandise described and set forth in the inventory on file with the license supervisor, as hereinabove required. Where a sale is had at public auction of the stock on hand of any merchant or auction house, in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, such sale shall not be fed or replenished.
