2.56.060: PERSONAL PROPERTY; DECLARATION OF OWNERSHIP:
All persons who, for their personal use and convenience, bring personally owned property to their place of employment, shall declare to their respective department heads the ownership of such property and shall file with the department head a statement of all such personally owned property used on the premises. In addition, the ownership of such personally owned property should be clearly indicated on each item. The record kept on file with the department head, together with the name of the owner appearing on the item, shall be deemed sufficient evidence to overcome the presumption that all property on the premises is property of the city. Small personal effects which are not usually provided by the city and which are not likely to be confused with similar items belonging to the city shall not be subject to this regulation.
