A. Required: Except for matters in which the Mayor may have a conflict of interest and may recuse him or herself and designate another, the Mayor shall sign:
1. All interlocal agreements;
2. All documents relating to the acquisition or disposition of real property, except as provided in subsections 50-5-4E, F and G of this chapter;
3. All bond documents related to the raising of money; and
4. All contracts which may appear to alter City policy.
B. Deputy Mayor Authorized: The forgoing documents may also be signed in the Mayor's absence by any Deputy Mayor properly so designated by the Mayor from time to time. (2019 Compilation)
