Parking notices received by City employees while on official business will be dismissed upon written request from their department head or their designee on official letterhead. A brief explanation of the business and a request for dismissal must be submitted to the Finance Department Civil Unit. Department heads must request a dismissal within ten (10) days of the issuance of the parking notice; provided, that the vehicle was not parked in a restricted zone. If the employee was parked in a restricted zone, they must appear before a Hearing Officer. (2019 Compilation)
