A. City Policy: It is the City's policy to carry out its activities in a manner consistent with sound environmental practices, energy efficiency and waste minimization, and to comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations.
B. Responsibilities: City directors, managers and supervisors are responsible for establishing programs to implement this sustainability policy at their respective locations.
C. Support: The Sustainability Department will provide guidance and support to ensure that continual improvements are made in environmental management.
D. Compliance: This chapter contemplates compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations, which will preempt any requirements stated herein.
