EDITOR'S NOTE: The City, under authority of Ordinance 89-55, passed April 18, 1955, entered into the Cuyahoga County Civil Defense Organization. However, Ordinance 50-65, passed March 15, 1965, directed the Mayor to terminate the contract authorized by Ordinance 89-55.
Ordinance 205-89, passed July 5, 1989, authorized an agreement with the County Board of Commissioners for an Emergency Incident Management System. Ordinance 213-89, passed July 5, 1989, authorized an agreement with the City of Cleveland for response to hazardous material incidents. Copies of these ordinances and of such agreements may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council.
