HUNTING AND FISHING
(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in killing any animal or waterfowl other than as prescribed herein or by other laws within the limits of the city.
(B) Waterfowl may be hunted within the city limits from all existing duck blinds in use on the East and West Lakes as of November 13, 1990.

(A) The city and the State Department of Conservation have entered into a cooperative management agreement for the East and West Lakes. This agreement gives the State Department of Conservation the responsibility to promote sound fishery management practices, establish regulations for the taking of such fishery, and to enforce the established rules and regulations as outlined under Administrative Rule 17 on those waters.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to take, or attempt to take, any aquatic life, including minnows, in any portion of the East or West Lakes except as provided under the cooperative management agreement and subsequent administrative rules; except that minnows may be taken pursuant to law in Cherry Creek 200 feet northwest of the mouth into West Lake.

The city and the Park Board provide a camping area for recreational vehicles (RV's) and tent camping which are open to the general public on an "as available basis" subject to campground surface and weather conditions in the opinion of the Superintendent of Parks.
