96.99 Penalty
No person, having the control, management, possession, or ownership of any lot, tract, or parcel of ground within the town, along and adjoining which any sidewalk extends, shall permit or allow any snow to be and remain on the sidewalk so extending along and abutting the lot, tract, or parcel of land in the town, longer than a period of twelve hours during the daytime, after the snow has ceased falling. Where snow or ice cannot be readily removed and presents a slippery surface, sand shall be spread on it.

(A) Persons owning or occupying property shall keep the sidewalk in front of their premises free of litter, dirt, and/or grass clippings.
(B) Persons owning or occupying places of business within the town shall keep the sidewalk in front of their business premises free of litter.
