§ 95.01 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or calls for a different meaning:
   PARADE. A PARADE, march, ceremony, show exhibition, pageant or procession of any kind, or rallies, demonstrations or any similar display, in or on any street or other outdoor place owned or under control of the Town of Paoli, Indiana.

§ 95.02 PERMIT REQUIRED.
   When required, except as provided in § 95.04, no person shall engage in, participate in, aid, form or start any parade unless a parade permit has been obtained from the Clerk-Treasurer as provided in this chapter.

§ 95.03 EXCEPTIONS.
   The provisions of this chapter do not apply to:
   (A)   Funeral processions;
   (B)   Any procession, rally, demonstration or similar activity on the sidewalks that does not violate any other provision of this chapter or other city ordinances; and
   (C)   A governmental agency acting within the scope of its function.
