10.04.150   Taxi stand.
   "Taxi stand" means a public place alongside the curb of a street or elsewhere in the city of Palo Alto which has been designated by the city manager as reserved exclusively for the use of taxicabs.

10.04.160   Traffic.
    "Traffic" means pedestrians, ridden or herded animals, vehicles and other conveyances either singly or together while using any street for purposes of travel.

10.04.170   Traffic control devices.
   "Traffic control devices" means all signs, signals, markings and devices not inconsistent with this title, heretofore or hereafter placed or erected under this title, as authorized by the Vehicle Code of the State of California or by the authority of this title.

10.04.180   Traffic lane.
   "Traffic lane" means that portion of any roadway, either marked or unmarked, being not less than eight and one-half feet in width.

10.04.185   Transportation network company.
   "Transportation network company" means an organization, including, but not limited to, a corporation, limited liability company, partnership, sole proprietor, or any other entity, operating in California that provides prearranged transportation services for compensation using an online-enabled application or platform to connect passengers with drivers using a personal vehicle.
