Development Agreements

926.01 Definitions.

926.02 Agreements in lieu of fees.

926.01 DEFINITIONS.

For the purposes of this chapter, certain terms are defined as follows:

(a) Development Agreement refers to an agreement between a developer of a property and the City of Oxford.

(b) Developer refers to the development corporation, company, persons, partnership of legal entity.

926.02 AGREEMENTS IN LIEU OF FEES.

(a) No development agreements shall be approved unless authorized by resolution of Council.

(b) Council may authorize the City Manager to enter into a development agreement in lieu of initial fees required by Chapters 921, Water Service, and 923, Sewers and Sewage Disposal, provided fees for monthly service as provided by these chapters and other sections of the Codified Ordinances are not waived.
