905.01 DEFINITION.
"Public sidewalk" means all spaces along any street, alley, lane or other public place and within the boundaries thereof, which are used by pedestrians to walk upon.

905.02 REMOVAL OF SNOW AND ICE.
(a) No person being the owner, agent, tenant or occupant of any premises within the limits of the City shall fail to remove or cause to be removed all snow, ice and filth, as the case may be, from any sidewalks abutting the front, side or sides, and rear of said premises, and or make such the sidewalks in front, side or sides, and rear of such premises, safe for travel within twelve (12) hours after a snow event;
(b) No person being the owner, agent, tenant, or occupant of any premises within the limits of the City, or being any person hired by any of the foregoing, shall plow, shovel, blow, or otherwise deposit snow or ice upon or within any portion of a street right-of-way, including the area between the paved portion of a street and the sidewalk, in such a manner as to obstruct the vision of motorists on public roads or streets at intersections, or the vision of motorists entering public roads or streets, or the vision of pedestrians crossing public roads or streets at crosswalks.
(c) No person being the owner, agent, tenant, or occupant of any premises within
The limits of the City, or being any person hired by any of the foregoing, shall plow, blow, shovel, or otherwise remove snow or ice from any property within the City and deposit the same upon the paved portion of any street, highway or right-of-way so as to decrease the drivable width of such street, highway or right-of-way.

905.03 FAILURE TO CLEAN; PAYMENT FOR WORK BY CITY. (REPEALED)
EDITOR’S NOTE: Former Section 905.03 was repealed by Ordinance 2008-042, passed October 21, 2008.
905.04 REPAIR OF DANGEROUS OR HAZARDOUS SIDEWALKS.
(a) All sidewalks located on City or public property within the City, which are in need of repair or are in a dangerous condition or which may become dangerous through being broken or mislocated, shall be repaired or replaced after notice has been given in accordance with the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code governing the service of notices and in accordance with City ordinances.
(b) The Director of Public Service and Safety shall cause to be served a notice stating the condition and location of the walk, and the length of time allotted for the repair thereof.
(c) If after the expiration of thirty days from the date of service of the notice the walk has not been repaired, the Director of Public Service and Safety shall cause the walk to be repaired, and the cost, including the engineering, inspection and other incidental expenses, shall be certified to the City Auditor for collection, either in cash or on the taxes, in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.
