A Local Law in relation to a street name, West 140th Street - Alphonso B. Deal Street, Borough of Manhattan

Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

Section 1. The following street name is hereby designated as hereafter indicated.

§ 2. This local law shall take effect immediately.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the City of New York, in relation to business improvement districts

Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

§ 14. Any resolution adopted by the board of estimate pursuant to chapter 4 of title 25 of the administrative code prior to September 1, 1990 shall be valid, provided, however, that such further action with respect to such resolution as authorized by such chapter shall be in accordance with this local law, except, that if the board of estimate shall have adopted a resolution approving the establishment or extension of a district pursuant to section 25-407 of such chapter prior to September 1, 1990, which resolution shall not have become effective prior to September 1, 1990, then the city council may, within thirty days of the expiration of the state comptroller's review period, act by resolution to disapprove the district's establishment or extension as the case may be, any inconsistent provision of law notwithstanding.

§ 15. This local law shall take effect immediately and shall be retroactive to and deemed to have been in full force and effect as of September 1, 1990.
