This Zoning Code is enacted for the purpose of promoting the public health, safety, morals, convenience, order and general welfare; establishing land use classifications, dividing the City into districts, imposing regulations, restrictions, and prohibitions upon the use and occupancy of real property; limiting the height, area, and bulk of buildings and other structures and providing for yards and other open space about them; establishing standards for performance and design; and, providing for the administration and enforcement thereof.
