(a) Establishment of Position. The position of Code Review Officer in and for the City is hereby established.
(b) Duties. The Director of Code Administration or his duly authorized representative is hereby designated as such Code Review Officer. Among other duties delegated to this Officer from time to time, this Officer shall be responsible for reviewing at least once every twelve months all legislation pertaining to housing, including the review of all model codes that may have been enacted by Council. Further, after performing his review, the Code Review Officer shall make recommendations to the Mayor and Council regarding what changes, in his opinion, should be made to update legislation that has already been enacted or that should be enacted.
