Holders of the elected office of City Treasurer shall be entitled to participate in the group health insurance program currently offered to the City's union affiliated employees. The provisions of the various union contracts regarding employee contribution and waiver of coverage shall also apply. However, should any provider of the City's group health insurance coverage refuse to include the City Treasurer as a "covered employee", this benefit shall expire.
