2-1-3: MEETINGS AND RULES:
All meetings of the zoning board of appeals shall be held at the call of the chair and at such times as the board may determine. All hearings and meetings required by the zoning title to be conducted by the board shall be open to the public. At meetings and hearings of the board, any interested person may appear in person or by duly authorized agents or attorneys. All testimony before the board shall be given under oath. The chair, or in his absence the acting chair, shall administer or authorize the administration of oaths and may compel the attendance of witnesses. The board shall keep minutes of its proceedings, showing the vote of each member upon every question, or if absent or failing to vote, indicating that fact. The board shall also keep records of its hearings and other official actions. Each member is entitled to vote on each question unless a member is absent or has disqualified himself. Every rule, regulation, every amendment or appeal thereof, and every order, requirement, decision or determination of the board shall immediately be filed with the secretary of the board and shall be a public record. The minutes of the board shall be available for public examination in the office of the city clerk. (Ord., 8-27-1974; amd. 1977 Code)
