1-7F-2: TERMS OF OFFICE:
All appointments shall continue until the appointee is removed from office as provided in section 1-5-7 of this title and section 1-7F-3 of this article. (Ord. 1615, 2-24-2014)
1-7F-3: REMOVAL FROM OFFICE:
Any appointed officer or department head may be removed from office by the Mayor for any cause by him deemed sufficient, but such removal shall be in accordance with section 1-5-7 of this title. Any member of any board, committee or commission may be removed as provided in section 2-2-4 of this Code. (Ord. 1667, 2-26-2018)
ARTICLE G. SALARIES

1-7G-1: SALARIES AND BENEFITS, GENERAL:
In accordance with Idaho Code Title 50, compensation for the Mayor and City Council members shall be fixed by ordinance at least seventy-five (75) days before any general election. Annual salaries are effective January 1 of the following years.
   A.   The annual compensation of the Mayor shall be as follows:
      1.   The Mayor shall receive an annual salary of sixty-six thousand three hundred dollars ($66,300.00), effective on January 1, 2024.
      2.   The Mayor shall receive an annual salary of sixty-seven thousand six hundred and twenty-six dollars ($67,626.00), effective on January 1, 2025.
      3.   The Mayor shall receive an annual salary of sixty-eight thousand nine hundred and seventy-eight dollars ($68,978.00), effective on January 1, 2026.
   B.   The annual compensation of the members of the City Council shall be as follows:
      1.   Each member of the City Council shall receive an annual salary of twelve thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ($12,750.00) effective January 1, 2024.
      2.   Each member of the City Council shall receive an annual salary of thirteen thousand and five dollars ($13,005.00) effective January 1, 2025.
      3.   Each member of the City Council shall receive an annual salary of thirteen thousand two hundred and sixty-five hundred dollars ($13,265.00) effective January 1, 2026.
   C.   Benefits: The Mayor and City Council may receive benefits in accordance with Idaho statute and City Policy.
   D.   The minimum hourly wage shall be as provided by the United States Department of Labor, except for employees employed by a recreational or amusement establishment if it does not operate for seven (7) months in any calendar year and transient employees.
   E.   The mileage reimbursement rate shall be the then current maximum amount allowed by the internal revenue service per mile. (Ord. 1662, 8-14-2017, eff. 1-1-2018; amd. Ord. 1724, 8-10-2021; Ord. 1778, 8-8-2023)
1-7G-2: NORMAL NECESSARY EXPENSES:
The Mayor and Council persons shall submit vouchers to the City Clerk for reimbursement of normal and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties. (Ord. 1058, 8-26-1985)
1-7G-3: EXTRAORDINARY EXPENSES:
When authorized by the Mayor and City Council and properly vouchered, the Mayor and members of the Council shall be reimbursed for extraordinary expenses incurred in the course of their official duties. (Ord. 753, 8-27-1973)
