1-7-1: BONDS:
   A.   Bonds Or Coverage In Lieu Of Bonds Required: The city clerk and city treasurer are hereby required to give and furnish official bonds or provide coverage in compliance with Idaho Code section 59-804 in an amount not less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) for the faithful performance of their respective duties.
   B.   City To Pay Premium On Bonds Or Coverage In Lieu Of Public Officials Surety Bond: If a surety company, authorized under the laws of Idaho to become surety on such bonds, becomes surety on any bond delivered to the city under the provisions of this section, or if the city purchases insurance coverage in lieu of a public official surety bond, the premium on such bond or insurance policy shall be paid by said city out of its general fund. 1-7-2: SALARIES:
   A.   Generally: The monthly salaries paid to officers and employees of the city are established by the city council through budget and appropriation provisions.
   B.   Part Time Employees: The compensation to be paid to part time employees of the city shall from time to time be fixed by the mayor and the department head. (1990 Code)

1-7A-2: DEPUTY CITY CLERK:
   A.   Office Created: There is created and established in the city an office to be generally known and designated as deputy city clerk.
   B.   Duties: The duties of said deputy city clerk shall be such as may from time to time be assigned by the city clerk, and in the absence of the city clerk or inability to perform the duties of his office, said deputy city clerk shall temporarily perform the duties of city clerk. (1990 Code)
