A. Bonds Or Coverage In Lieu Of Bonds Required: The city clerk and city treasurer are hereby required to give and furnish official bonds or provide coverage in compliance with Idaho Code section 59-804 in an amount not less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) for the faithful performance of their respective duties.
B. City To Pay Premium On Bonds Or Coverage In Lieu Of Public Officials Surety Bond: If a surety company, authorized under the laws of Idaho to become surety on such bonds, becomes surety on any bond delivered to the city under the provisions of this section, or if the city purchases insurance coverage in lieu of a public official surety bond, the premium on such bond or insurance policy shall be paid by said city out of its general fund.
