To the extent that §§ 152.090 and 152.091 and are exempt from the regulations of §§ 152.001 through 152.006, 152.020 through 152.026, 152.040 through 152.046, 152.060, 152.061 and 152.075 is more restrictive than the provisions of this subchapter, then §§ 152.090 and 152.091 and are exempt from the regulations of §§ 152.001 through 152.006, 152.020 through 152.026, 152.040 through 152.046, 152.060, 152.061 and 152.075 shall control. Nothing contained herein shall relieve any person from securing a city sign permit for any sign in the Historic District, or seeking an exception from the City Commission when required.
